In which direction the driver is allowed to drive: — Tesakan

In which direction the driver is allowed to drive:

The “Traffic prohibited” sign with the “Directions of effect” plate prohibits right and left turns, so you may go straight ahead or make a U-turn.

The “Traffic prohibited” sign is placed with a “Directions of effect” plate pointing right and left, which means that turning right and left is prohibited at this intersection. Since there are no restrictions prohibiting the other directions, you are allowed to continue straight ahead or make a U-turn.

Option 1. This combination of signs clearly prohibits right and left turns rather than allowing them.
Option 2. Going straight ahead is allowed, but making a U-turn is allowed too.

What do the following signs mean? What should a driver do when this road sign is placed in front of an intersection?
