Are you required to turn on the right reverse indicator at this intersection? — Tesakan

Are you required to turn on the right reverse indicator at this intersection?

Entering an intersection with roundabout traffic is a right turn, so you must turn on the right indicator even when making a U-turn.

When you enter an intersection with roundabout traffic (4.3), you first make a right turn onto the circular roadway. Under clause 36, before starting any maneuver the driver must turn on the turn indicator for that direction. So when entering, you must turn on the right turn indicator, whichever exit you then plan to take.

Option 2. Entering a roundabout counts by law as a maneuver (a turn), so not giving a signal breaks the rules.
Option 3. The entry itself is always a right turn, so the right indicator is required even if your final aim is to make a U-turn.
